We all sing praises to Harry, Ron, and Hermoine. But, what about the small characters who did work outside the scenes? It’s time we gave them their praise.
Mrs. Figg

Charged to protect Harry as a child. A squib who dedicated the bulk of her life to guiding and protecting a young prophet incognito! Let’s give her some flowers!
Neville Longbottom
Yes, prominently featured in the films and throughout the books, but discounted for his greatness. He was a witness for it all, and played a pivotal part in the downfall of Voldemort from the very beginning. Young fat Neville was a better wizard than Ron Weasley, quote me on that!
Sybill Trelawney
As ‘LOONY’ as she was, Trelawney set the tone for the Horcruxes being noticed and found. Yes, she was batshit crazy in the eyes of 15 year old's, but she was RIGHT. Harry had an omen that needed to be read and she caught it almost immediately. SHOUT OUT to my favorite seer.
Molly Weasley
Listen, this is this world’s best mother. Without her care and sympathy, Harry doesn’t have a safe place, and The Burrow is that!
